It's been about 4 days now, and the phone company still hasn't disconnected us. Now, while that's a good thing, it makes me wonder-- WHEN? WHEN are they going to? Are they? Aren't they? What in Love's name is going on?!!? O_o;;
Not that I mind. It's actually helped me realize I'm getting my schoolwork done ON TIME, and that I'm not actually all that behind. Couple more days, and I should be ahead. =D
*prays and crosses fingers for them not to disconnect us*
In other news, my foot's getting MUCH, MUCH better. The pain in my Achilles' isn't so bad at all, and my heel's not tremendously agonizing as it was, before. I've been making a lot of progress, according to my physical therapist, too. I can actually WALK WITHOUT CRUTCHES!!! Well, for a little bit here and there. After awhile, I have to go back to using one. And it's not without the boot, yet. Still, it's much better than when I lost my cast for the first time.
And now for a random bit of poetry, for my own amusement.
Good & Evil
To sing a song of the day,
To sing a song of the night,
To sing a sing is to sing a song with jubilee and delight.
To come forthwith and yonder,
Unto the arising sun,
Brings to me to ponder,
Of that of which is done.
Be silent, my wondering mind,
Of that now, which has been.
To call upon the feather-winged,
And restore me back from sin.
I am only here to observe,
To learn from mistakes, before.
But sometimes, my dear friend,
There are things you can't ignore.
Take me away from the dark,
Bring me to the light,
For I have fallen, and lost my way,
And I can't get back from the night.
Thank you, oh marvelous One,
To you, I am indebted.
For taking away my woes,
And my condemnment intercepted.
In you, I find forgiveness,
Though I am earthly still,
But I know that when the time comes,
I am in your will.
*continues to pray and cross fingers*
